Additional Trauma CE Courses
The Region 5 Regional Trauma Advisory Committee (RTAC) works to improve outcomes for all patients experiencing trauma. The RTAC works hand in hand with the EMS, hospital, and community stakeholders to periodically assess the training needs of trauma care providers in the region.
Realizing that traumatic injuries require a continuum of care that begins with initial responders and continues to definitive care, our educational team works to deliver high-quality trauma education to community members (immediate responders), professional first responders, and in-hospital trauma care providers.
The R5 Trauma Instructional Team is engaged in many Georgia Trauma Commission and Georgia Emergency Medical Association-sponsored educational programs.
The Region 5 RTAC maintains both a regional training equipment cache and library and is happy to assist regional partners with any of the following courses:
