The R5Trauma Education and Outreach team works to improve outcomes for all patients experiencing trauma. R5Trauma works hand in hand with the EMS, hospital, and community stakeholders to periodically assess the training needs of trauma care providers in the region.
Realizing that traumatic injuries require a continuum of care that begins with initial responders and continues to definitive care, our educational team works to deliver high-quality trauma education to community members (immediate responders), professional first responders, and in-hospital trauma care providers.
