Drive-Thru for Health & Safety
The Region 5 RTAC, in collaboration with our regional and state-wide partners, hosts Drive-Thru for Health & Safety events to promote childhood health and safety.
These safe, drive-thru-style events provide opportunities for positive interactions between our partners and the communities they serve. Children receive free bike helmets and other health and safety-themed give-a-ways. Parents and caregivers are provided with safety literature, gun locks, and other resources. All participants have opportunities to greet local responders and celebrities. Car seat checks are also available on-site.
